These two gentlemen served in the Viet Nam war, homeland security is now threatening to deport them to Mexico even though they have an American mother. Benefit will be Saturday, December 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Skyline Chapter of the American G.I. Forum off of Federal and Alameda. Maxine & Company will be playing from 4:00-6:00. There will be Door prizes, drawings, Dinner at 6:00. $10.00 donation per person.

Come and listen to Maxine & Company doing something very different this year! We will be performing Jazz and Blues at El Centro Su Teatro’s new digs on 721 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, Colorado. Freddie Rodriguez Sr. and his band will be performing and Freddie will be given recognition musically for all he has done in Denver for so many years. We will be performing right after them at 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Following us will be Amanecer with Jon Romero. Great night, come hungry, there will be concessions.

Antoinette was 40 years old when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Antoinette passed away on September 15, 2009 after a very short battle. Antoinette was employed as a temporary employee and had no health insurance. All proceeds of the benefit will go towards helping her family pay Antoinette’s medical expenses.
